Maybe Bioware didn’t have enough control over the game’s production so they opted to destroy the game instead.

The writers of Uncharted have trouble meshing gameplay and character (leading to Nathan Drake: Murderer of Thousands) but they do very well at keeping the tone and themes and general attitudes of their game the same…
